Pixel Pets

Do you have a favorite animal/pet? I bet you do! Our job here is to help you build a masterpiece that lives up to the bond you have with your special animal friend! With the source images you provide, we will edit your pet/animal to appear massive, and then place them in an atmosphere of your choice. (See gallery for examples) We can also place an image of you or your loved one(s) on or near your much-larger animal friend. The completed project is an enhanced-quality PNG image file to use as you please for social media, prints, canvases, or other physical displays.

For the best finished project, we will need the best source images available. The angle, light, shadows, size, and quality of your source images will all be important. But no need to stress! Once you submit your information for your creative consultation, we will help you get the best pics for your artwork. The better source images you submit, the better your finished masterpiece will be!

Creativity is the name of the game, and imagination is the limit! I am happy to answer any questions you may have about these fun projects.

FAQ

  • Once we receive all images of pets and people to appear in your artwork, it takes between 1 to 3 days, depending on size and number subjects in the project. Multiple projects in queue may increase wait times. Physical orders also require additional manufacturing time after completion of the digital artwork.

Email me at aarcrafts@protonmail.com if you have any questions or concerns before ordering.

  • I am happy to accommodate your creativity whenever possible! If you have something else in mind, include your idea(s) in your submission for your consultation and we will do our best to make it happen!

  • Taking the best pictures of your pet can be challenging. Here are some tips for the best images:

    • Fill the frame. (make sure the pictured pets/humans take up as much of the picture as possible) Also make sure no limbs, head, or other body parts are missing from any subject images.

    • Use food or a toy to get animals to look where you want them to.

    • For pet pictures, try to level your camera about half the height of the pet you are taking a picture of.

    • Try to keep your pet comfortable so they don’t have a distressed expression (such down ears, tucked tail, etc) in your artwork.

    • Make sure all pictures of subjects have similar lighting/angle. For example, if your pet pictures were taken indoors with a flash, make sure all pictures of people (and any additional pets) are taken in the same or similar setting.

    • Ask someone to help you. Another set of hands can be quite helpful!

    • Use TIMER MODE on your camera for pictures of yourself. A tripod will also come in handy.

    • For the customer-favorite “riding your pet” pose, simply take a picture of yourself sitting on a stool, facing a light source. Make sure your feet hang freely, as if you were riding an animal. Hands should be over your belly button, unless you wish to wave or make another gesture.

    • Also for “horseback” pet art, it’s ideal to have your pet(s) pictured standing up rather than sitting or laying down.

    • Feel free to send multiple pictures of the same pet if you aren’t sure which one is the best shot.

  • Easily! We can either make the tag appear “blank” or place a snarky phrase over the personal info. (Such as “NICE TRY” or “DOXXERS SUCK!”)

  • Please email your pet’s picture(s) to aarcrafts@protonmail.com

I will be in touch with you shortly to share creative ideas that will memorialize your departed companion properly!

  • If you have images that you aren’t sure are sufficient for Pixel Pets artwork, you may send the picture(s) in question to aarcrafts@protonmail.com for review.

  • Of course! A reptile, bird, or fish would be a fun subject for artwork!

  • You bet! Please message us directly at aarcrafts@protonmail.com specifying what item(s) you wish to order. We will send you an add-on invoice which will deduct digital labor costs from your order. (This will be a temporary fix until add-ons are added to the shop.)

  • Sure! Please email us and let us know what your favorite animal is, and we’ll start there. (You may also send your own image of your favorite animal if you’d prefer)
